Efforts Continue To Raise Money To Finish Tabiona Veterans Memorial

Honoring Veterans is a priority to many here in the Uintah Basin and help has been requested in the effort to raise funds to finish the Tabiona Veterans Memorial. The organizers behind the effort have invited all to their upcoming Freedom Community Car Show on Saturday, September 19, at the Tabiona Rodeo Grounds. “This event is our final big fundraiser to help complete the Tabiona Veterans Memorial,” shares the announcement. “Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we’ve already raised 64% of the funds needed. We only have 36% left to go, and we can secure sponsors for the remaining flag poles.” A few ways to help is to donate prizes for a bingo and raffle as part of September’s event, to sponsor a flag pole that will have a permanent acknowledgement, and to donate to Venmo @TabbyValley-Vets. All makes and models are invited for the Freedom Community Car Show and there is no registration fee. They only ask for a donation of any amount towards the Veterans Memorial.
