A popular annual fireworks show in northeastern Utah has been cancelled this year for obvious safety reasons. Flaming Gorge Resort is getting the word out about the change as well as the festivities still happening. “The Dutch John Town Council met [Monday] and voted on cancelling the Dutch John Fireworks on July 4th,” shares the announcement. “They are still having their breakfast from 7 to 10am at the Dutch John firehouse (not the church).” The Flaming Gorge Resort will also still be celebrating the 4th with their 21st Annual Car Show from 12-5pm. This is a free event with cars, inflatables, food and fun.
