The Associate Librarian with the Duchesne County Library System is among a few librarians in the state to receive awards at this year’s Utah Library Association conference. Amy Crocket is this year’s recipient of the Outreach Award by the ULA. The 2026 ULA Conference Magazine featured Amy and shared the following: Amy grew up in a small town in northern Utah and has lived in Duchesne for about five years. She currently serves as an Associate Librarian with the Duchesne County Library, where she manages three library outreach programs, conducts the weekly homeschool hour, and curates the Junior and Young Adult collections. Her responsibilities also include designing the monthly newsletter, updating the library website, and processing images for the history center. Those that know Amy Crockett are not surprised that she far exceeded the expectations in library outreach, making life better for Duchesne County Library System patrons. Congratulations Amy!
