. The website launched just this week and includes a bounty of information on where to stay, play, eat and relax in Duchesne County. Speaking this week at a community outreach forum, Duchesne County Commissioner Ron Winterton said that the county is focused on diversifying the economy to counter the downturn in the oil and gas industry. Winterton says Duchesne County is working similarly to Uintah County by turning to recreation and expanding through advertising. There are 10 destination resorts in Duchesne County and their goal is to highlight them and increase tourism.
