Duchesne County Man Arrested For Allegedly Entering Home and Assaulting Resident

A Duchesne County man was arrested and taken to the Duchesne County Jail on Tuesday after allegedly entering a home in the Upalco area of Duchesne County and assaulting the woman within. According to court documents, 40-year-old Wesley David Rigby allegedly entered a home uninvited and started yelling at the victim followed by grabbing, shoving, and holding her down. The victim told police he held her down and intentionally spit in her eyes two times. The officer noted that the victim had red marks on her wrists. The victim claimed that when she was finally able to get to her phone, Rigby left because he knew she was calling the police. Rigby was located, placed under arrest, and taken to the Duchesne County Jail for the offenses of Burglary of a Dwelling, Assault, and Propelling a Bodily Substance. He is being held in the Duchesne County Jail on $11,730 dollars bail. Court documents did not state the nature of the relationship between Rigby and the victim, if any.
