Duchesne County Back to High Transmission Index Level (7/29-8/4)

As of July 29th, Duchesne County is back at the High COVID-19 Transmission Index Level while Uintah County stayed at the High Level and Daggett County stayed at the Low Level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 18 percent and there were 168 cases in the past 14 days, Duchesne County was 20 percent and there were 88 cases, and Daggett County was 0 percent with 1 case. Statewide total ICU utilization was 83 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 28 percent. The report shows locally 9 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations in the past seven days and 3 new COVID-19 related deaths.
