Officers with the Utah Natural Resources Division of Law Enforcement, in partnership with Ute Tribal Law Enforcement, are seeking information to identify the owner of a truck involved in a poaching incident last month. On September 12th, east of Pleasant Valley in Uintah County on Ute tribal lands, images were taken of a unique truck associated with three men and a dog. “A pronghorn was illegally harvested after private property was accessed without permission,” shares the announcement. “The animal was field-dressed and removed from Ute tribal lands.” Law enforcement is requesting help in tracking down those involved in the incident. The images can be viewed and tips can be submitted on the ‘Utah DNR Division of Law Enforcement’ Facebook page. Tips can also be shared on the UTiP (Turn in a Poacher) line at 1-800-662-3337 or text 847411.
