Dinosaurland Passport To Summer Aims To Keep Kids Active While School Is Out

This summer in Uintah County it is safe to say that if you are bored, it’s your own fault! Passports for the annual Dinosaurland Passport to Summer are ready and have been sent home in school backpacks across the District. The Passport program started in 2016 as a way to encourage youth to get out and be active during the summer rather than cooped up on screens at home. As activities in the Passport are complete, kids can visit the sponsoring business and get a stamp in their Passport. The more activities completed, the more opportunities for prizes at the end of the summer. Uintah County’s Passport to Summer replaced what was initially called the Unplugged program where youth could collect brag tags. For those still needing them, this year’s Passports are available to pick up at the Uintah County Library, Vernal Chamber Office, and Uintah County Travel and Tourism. Let the summer fun begin!
