Detour Planned For Roosevelt City Main Street During Friday’s Halloween Event

Roosevelt City’s big Halloween event is happening on Friday, October 30th, and all on the roads are asked to be patient as traffic is diverted for the event. To help keep everyone safe, traffic detours will begin at 3:00pm with traffic  detoured from Main Street onto State Street, beginning near Country Cabinets/Maverick and past L&L on 200 North. “Construction crews working on State Street will move equipment off the roadway as much as possible to accommodate the increased traffic during the event,” shares the announcement. “Roosevelt City Police will be stationed along Main Street and at detour locations to help direct traffic and ensure pedestrian safety. Please plan ahead, expect additional traffic, and use extra caution when traveling through the area. Be sure to watch for pedestrians and follow directions from officers.” All are asked to be patient and make safety the top priority for the little ones attending the Halloween parade.
