Damage Of Over $150,000 After Man Shot Electric Regulator On Power Pole

Charges have been filed against a Saratoga Springs man after an incident that allegedly took place in Uintah County earlier this year. According to the Probable Cause Statement, 23-year-old Henry Kledaras was traveling as a passenger in a vehicle on January 27th when he shot a gun out the window at an electric regulator attached to a power pole. “The impact of the bullet caused the regulator to spark and caused a fire in the area and damaged two other regulators and caused a power outage in the area,” shares the statement. The cost to repair the damaged regulators is just over $150,798 dollars. Kledaras has been charged with 2nd Degree Felony Property Damage and Destruction and Misdemeanor Discharge of Firearms.
