Ashley Regional Medical Center Shares Community Benefit Report

Ashley Regional Medical Center released their 2023 community benefit report on Wednesday. The report shares the following: In 2023, Ashley Regional added 38 employed and independent providers in internal medicine, podiatry, detox services and telemedicine; and made nearly $1 million dollars in capital improvements, including a Giraffe Omnibed Care Station for OB, a new anesthesia system for surgery and a thyroid chemical analyzer that allows the hospital to offer new procedures in surgery and ENT cases. Additionally, Ashley Regional Medical Center made a donation of more than $6 million dollars in health services to those in need. In 2023, the hospital distributed more than $23 million dollars in salaries, wages and benefits for its approximately 300 employees, while contributing more than $165,000 dollars in professional development and tuition assistance to employees. Last year, the organization paid $2,514,238 dollars in local and state taxes, while also continuing its support of local activities and organizations.
