The highly anticipated shooting complex will soon become a reality in Daggett County. The Daggett County Commission reports that initial construction and excavation will start on the project the second week of November. The shooting complex project is funded by a $200,000 dollar Utah Outdoor Recreation grant and will include a pistol range, 300 yard rifle range, two trap shooting houses, archery range, 3D archery trail, and an axe and knife throwing area. The county property to be used has already been surveyed and the shooting areas are already staked out. Construction is expected to be complete by the summer of 2025 if not sooner.
