Summer events and rodeos are the bread and butter of Daggett County and the Commissioners are ready to kick off this busy season. “With the arrival of May, Daggett County eagerly anticipates a vibrant summer filled with an array of engaging activities,” shares the Commissioners. “This year’s calendar boasts the welcome addition of several novel events, promising a season brimming with fresh experiences.” To keep all informed of the events, the ‘Visit Flaming Gorge’ Facebook page and Instagram page will be consistently updated. Just a taste of what’s immediately coming up: The Flaming Gorge Fish Derby is May 17th and 18th and another fishing derby hosted by The Hub is June 21st and 22nd. The 16th annual branding held at the Historic Swett Ranch in Greendale is Saturday, May 31st, at 11am. The Jarvie Fest this year in Browns Park is scheduled for Saturday, June 7th, from 10am to 2pm. Daggett County’s History Day is also on June 7th. The Cow Country Junior Rodeo and Team Roping School is June 19th through the 21st.
