Crane-Truck Accident Near Rangely

Crews continue to work on the cleanup of an accident near Rangely that resulted in a diesel fuel spill. A crane truck traveling on Highway 64 east of Rangely rolled during the mid morning on Wednesday and ended on its side next to the roadway. The driver, 40-year-old Casey Sanders, received minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. The crash resulted in around 50 gallons of diesel fuel spilling. Crews have been working to cleanup the spill as well as remove the truck crane which could be a long process. Traveling too fast on winter road conditions have been noted as the likely cause of the crash.
