Continued construction on Diamond Mountain Road will begin on Monday, May 20th, and delays are anticipated. The work is expected to last 5 to 6 weeks and traffic will be reduced to one lane during daylight hours. “Please help maintain a safe construction zone by following all traffic control signs and directions from flaggers and pilot cars during this time,” shares the SSD1 announcement. “Please be patient during the construction and expect delays from 20 to 45 minutes…While we realize that maintenance projects such as this often cause temporary inconveniences to travelers, USSD1 and Uintah County appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as we work to maintain and improve the many miles of public roads in Uintah County.” Drivers can take an alternate route during construction by traveling north on Highway 191 to Limestone Road.
