Con Amore Fishing Day a Success

by | Sep 29, 2017 | News | 0 comments

Kids at a Myton school have won the hearts of folks throughout the Basin through a unique annual event. The Annual Con Amore Fishing Day pairs up special needs children from Con Amore School with volunteer teens and adults to act as buddies during a day of fishing fun. Over 100 children participate in this great event. Event coordinators are always grateful for the positive response of volunteers because these children have special needs and may not be able to routinely experience the outdoor opportunities in the Uintah Basin. The goal of the event is to provide a day of quality recreation in an outdoor setting for the kids to experience something special. Volunteers include law enforcement, Uintah Basin Healthcare employees, Duchesne County 4H kids, and more.
