How many, many feet will you meet? Plan to meet lots of different feet at the various Dr. Seuss celebrations.
On Friday, March 1
, the Uintah County Library and the Literacy Commission will be celebrating with a Dr. Seuss Day party based on his book The Foot Book. There will be storytimes for the little ones
at 10am
and
11am
. Carnival games for school-aged children
from 2pm to 5pm
. The Heritage Museum will also have treats and games. In Roosevelt,
on Saturday March 2
, will be a Dr. Seuss Brunch. This free event for the whole family will have Seuss stories, crafts, activities and a light brunch
from 10am to 12pm
. Both libraries are doing reading challenges; Uintah doing 100 books/chapters and the Roosevelt doing a Children’s Challenge, Tween/Teen Challenge and Adult Challenge. Individuals can turn in their sheets at the party!
