The medical field is making continual advancement when it comes to wound care with approximately 6.7 million people affected by chronic wound care. To help meet with the demand, Uintah Basin Healthcare recently had a ribbon cutting for a Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center. UB Healthcare is already seeing great results because of the treatments that the center offers. “This Wound Center and professionals who truly care about people are much needed,” shares patient Ulli Wagner. “They are an asset to the hospital and the county… We need this wound clinic in our area and professionals such as Dr. Garcia and Gayleen. I was close to losing my foot after dealing with it for 1 ½ years and not being able to get it taken care of. They were so dedicated, professional and helpful.
