Celebrate The New Year Holiday Safely and Responsibly

Traditions and great memories are part of the New Year’s holiday each year. Whatever those traditions include it’s important that safety is the top priority. Local law enforcement will be out as always with extra patrols watching for impaired drivers. Vernal City Assistant Police Chief Keith Campbell reminds all to celebrate responsibly, drive safely, and have a Happy New Year.  For those interested in lighting off fireworks as part of their holiday, today is the last day that fireworks can be sold and discharged. For today only, class “C” fireworks can be discharged from 11am to 1am tomorrow. We encourage all to enjoy a safe and responsible holiday and wish all our friends and neighbors a happy and prosperous 2020!
