In the age of COVID-19, the phrase “going green” has a whole new meaning. With Uintah, Duchesne, and Daggett Counties joining several other counties in the state in moving to “Green”, Utah’s New Normal Risk Phase, TriCounty Health Officer Jordan Mathis is emphasizing that this does not indicate that COVID-19 is gone.

It's official. Vernal City will be taking over management of the Vernal Regional Airport, starting July 1st. The airport is jointly owned by Uintah County and Vernal City since 1947. Uintah County owns 75 percent and Vernal City owns 25 percent.
