KNEU 1250The Uinta Basin Ozone Alert system shared a new report on Sunday encouraging residents to continue to reduce ozone-forming emissions for the duration of the week. While under normal circumstances an end-of-episode alert would likely have been issued, inversion conditions continue.

The TriCounty Health District is still in the same COVID-19 Transmission Index Levels. According to TriCounty Health’s press release on Thursday, this means Uintah County had been in high transmission for 70 days, Duchesne County for 70 days and Daggett County in the low transmission level for 86 days.

This weekend will be the soft opening for the new ‘Buckskin Hills Snow Hill’ in Uintah County. Uintah County announced details on Wednesday sharing the following: “There is a ‘buzz’ around Uintah County regarding the tubing hill at Buckskin Hills Recreation Complex.
