KNEU 1250An all night softball tournament going on this weekend unites the fun competition of the sport with the ability to do something good for someone that could really use some extra support. The tournament is taking place at the Ashley Valley Community Park softball fields in Vernal with games starting today at 4pm and the tournament running through the 27th.
Effective today, June 25th, Rio Blanco County has entered Stage 2 Fire Restrictions. This comes as little surprise as crews continue the battle with the Oil Springs Fire south of Rangely.

A Mobile Driver’s License (or mDL) is a highly secure, official version of a person’s driver’s license or state-issued ID card on an individual’s phone. The app allows individuals to select the needed personal information in situations like ordering drinks, at the airport, or at a car rental with a phone and only the needed information.
TriCounty Health Department announced Wednesday that the Division of Water Quality (DEQ) tested Matt Warner Reservoir and discovered elevated levels of cyanobacteria, the bacteria that make up Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs). Harmful Algal Blooms look like algae on the water.
