KNEU 1250Area leaders are making a final push to get locals involved in the redistricting process currently underway that has the potential to really hurt representation of the Uintah Basin. Among them is Senator Ron Winterton who is strongly urging citizens of the Uintah Basin to attend the final redistricting public hearing for our area that is taking place tomorrow morning at the Uintah Conference Center.
Vernal is now home to an elite amateur hockey team with its premier season kicking off this month. The Vernal Oilers will participate in the Western States Hockey League playing teams in the western United States and Canada.
