KNEU 1250Talented, young musicians had the audience on their feet at the debut concert of the Uintah Basin Youth Chamber Orchestra. The musicians ranging in age from 10 to 20 years old, took the stage at the Vernal Middle School on Saturday night and impressed with a program lineup that included Holt’s St. Paul’s Suite and the energetic Palladio composed by Karl Jenkins.
Who could forget the day in June of 2014 when a blue 10 ton tractor broke halfway through the Browns Park Swinging Bridge and sat suspended over the Green River? The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in a case of stolen livestock around the Arcadia area. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Arcadia resident Charles Hansen notified their office on October 24th that three calves were missing and possibly stolen.
