Missing Calves in Duchesne County

The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in a case of stolen livestock around the Arcadia area. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Arcadia resident Charles Hansen notified their office on October 24th that three calves were missing and possibly stolen. “All three calves had collars and the calves were reported to have been chained to a plastic shelter. There is no evidence of any broken property housing these calves, suggesting they didn’t just break free themselves.” A vehicle of interest in the investigation is a maroon Ford F-250 or F-350 King Ranch pickup with Colorado plates pulling a 3 or 4 horse trailer with Oregon plates. The Sheriff’s Office would appreciate any information from the public on this case. Call 738-2015 or to remain anonymous, call the tip line at 738-0196.
