Civil Air Patrol Squadron Officially Launched in Basin

The Uintah Basin now has its own cadet squadron of the Civil Air Patrol. The Civil Air Patrol, or CAP, is an auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force that includes a cadet program of 24,000 youth across the county that learn to assist the senior CAP members in disaster relief, search and rescue and even receive some aerospace education.
