There’s only a few days left to experience the Smithsonian exhibit on display at the Museum of Uintah County. ‘Voices & Votes: Democracy in America’ examines the 250-year-old American experiment of a government “of, by, and for the people,” and how each generation since continues to question how to form “a more perfect union”, shares the original exhibit announcement. For two months, the exhibition has been on display, inviting visitors “to explore the action, reaction, vision, and revision that democracy demands as Americans continue to question how to shape the country.” ‘Voices & Votes: Democracy in America’ will be on display at the Museum of Uintah County through October 17th. Its next stop is the Museum at Union Station in Ogden. The local exhibit is part of ‘Museum on Main Street’, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution, Utah Humanities, and the Museum of Uintah County.
