Car Rollover has Responders Remind People to Slow Down

The holiday season is a time for visiting family and friends. This most often means that there will be some time spent on the road, which in winter conditions can be hazardous. In Moffat County on Road 31 there was a car rollover during the holiday weekend, the Craig Daily Press reports. At about 12:40pm on Sunday, November 25th, a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer headed north rolled on its side and landed on the west side of the road. Fortunately, neither the driver or the single passenger were injured. Colorado State Patrol Trooper Chad Rizzuto has begun his investigation and isn’t sure if anything beyond slick conditions on the road was a factor but says “as winter is hitting, slow down. Speed is often a factor… slowing down can help.” First responders have been called out to multiple rollovers recently.
