Businesses Recognized by Vernal Area Chamber

The Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce honors businesses every year in five categories. This year’s retail/wholesale business of the year is Basin Sports owned by DeArmon and Jacqueline Batty. The manufacturing/industry business of the year is Moon Lake Electric Association owned by the Daniels family of Altamont. The government business of the year is the Naples City Police Department K9 Program which started in 2006 and has grown in the years since. The agricultural business of the year is Stuntz Valley Ranch, a fifth generation farming and ranching operation owned by the Snow family. The service business of the year is Hank’s Electric of Vernal owned by the Oostveen family. The business was originally located on the Wasatch Front and Hank Oostveen expanded to the Uintah Basin in 1981. Congratulations to all the businesses of the year recognized by the Vernal Chamber of Commerce.
