BLM Vernal Field Office Issues Oil And Gas Well Permits

The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued several decisions regarding oil and gas well permits. Applications for Permit to Drill were authorized for Uinta Wax Operating LLC to horizontally drill up to nine oil wells from the approved LC Tribal Well Pad expansion on BIA-administered lands in Section 20 of Duchesne County. Four Applications for Permit to Drill were approved authorizing Uinta Wax Operating LLC to horizontally drill oil wells from the Jaw Well Pad on split-estate lands approximately 14 miles east of Roosevelt. Finally, applications for Permit to Drill were authorized for Koda GNB LLC to directionally drill up to sixteen gas wells from the approved Raptor 10 Well Pad expansion to produce from two existing federal mineral leases on BIA-administered lands in Section 10 of Uintah County.
