The Bureau of Land Management has issued Stage 2 Fire Restrictions due to a sustained increase in critical fire weather patterns and the cumulative drying of forest and rangeland fuels within the Green River District. The following acts are prohibited on all Bureau of Land Management lands administered in Carbon, Daggett, Duchesne, Emery, Grand, and Uintah counties: Open fires of any kind; Smoking except within a vehicle or enclosed area; Grinding, cutting, and welding of metal; Operating or using any internal combustion engine without a spark arresting device properly installed.
