The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment for the Weber 42-3-723 Well Pad. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM approved four Applications for Permit to Drill for the applicant, Middle Fork Energy Uinta LLC, to drill gas wells to produce from their existing federal mineral leases. The EA also analyzed construction of the well pad and associated infrastructure and drilling of up to fifteen additional wells in the future for nineteen total wells. The project location is on BLM-administered lands approximately 9.5 miles south of Jensen in Uintah County. The announcement was issued on April 29th.
