BLM Approves Natural Gas Wells In Uintah County

The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office announced on September 4th that they have issued a Decision Record for the NBU10H Natural Gas Wells in Uintah County. The signed decision record authorizes the applicant, Koda GNB LLC, to drill up to two gas wells from the expanded NBU 921-10H Well Pad to produce from their existing federal mineral lease. The BLM used the Environmental Assessment prepared by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, which approved the right-of-way for the well pad expansion. The project location is on BIA-administered lands in the Natural Buttes Unit in Uintah County. The decision record can be found at eplanning.blm.gov.
