The opportunity to apply for grazing allotments in the Book Cliffs has again become available but closes this month. The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office will accept applications through July 31st for 11 grazing allotments in the Book Cliffs area of Uintah County. “The allotments were previously relinquished and are now available to qualified livestock operators,” shares the BLM announcement. “The available allotments include Atchee Ridge AMP, Birchell, Brewer, Green River AMP, Hatchbroome Bartholomew, Lower McCook, Sand Wash, Santio Sibello, Sunday School Canyon, Sweet Water and Thorne-Ute-Broome.” Applicants must meet the mandatory qualifications.
