Extreme heat is defined as summertime temperatures that are much hotter and/or humid than average, which the area has definitely been seeing. Be aware of the three types of heat-related health conditions, including heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke. If you or someone you’re with is experiencing a heat-related illness, you should call 9-1-1 immediately.
