A compliance check by Adult Probation and Parole in Myton City last week resulted in arrest. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the individual on parole had been observed at a known drug residence, prompting the compliance check.
Officers performed the check with 26-year-old Shelby Lynne Affleck at home and located methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a large combat knife in Affleck’s bedroom. As a Category 1 Restricted Person, Affleck was placed under arrest and has been charged with 3rd Degree Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree Felony Possession of a Dangerous Weapon by a Restricted Person, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
