Another Reminder Shared To Stay Off Steinaker Service Canal Trail Construction

Another reminder has been issued for people to stay off of the under-construction Steinaker Service Canal Trail. This time the reminder was issued to Terra Academy students and families but the message applies to the community at large. Terra Academy Director Dr. Ammon Campbell shared with Terra families that all need to “stay away from the active construction zone associated with the Steinaker Canal Trail. Construction crews have expressed concerns about student safety, particularly between 500 South all the way over to 500 North.” Parents were urged to please remind their students that construction areas can present serious safety hazards and that they should not enter, walk through, or otherwise access the active work zone. This is not the first message issued about staying off the under-construction trail and applies to all. It’s hoped work will be completed on the project in a few weeks.
