The annual Flaming Gorge Fish Derby is coming up and not an event to be missed. This is one of the largest freshwater fishing derbies in the USA with up to 400 teams competing in multiple categories. This year will also be the first year for the new team weight category in Lake Trout pups. “This should help us increase harvest on that size class, allowing us to continue to grow larger lake trout,” shares DWR outreach manager Tonya Kieffer.
