The Community of Unity in Christ Interfaith Group has announced plans for this year’s Unity Festival that has a focus on celebrating America’s 250th birthday. The Unity Festival is a resource fair where the community is invited to visit booths gathering information on community resources. The community members also gather tokens from the booths that can be redeemed for food at the food trucks on site. The America 250 Unity Festival is happening Monday, June 8th, from 6 to 8:30pm at the park in front of the Uintah County Library. A flag ceremony and the National Anthem will happen at 7pm and the first 250 attendees age 15 and older will receive America 250 Celebration collectable pins. For those interested, it is free to register a resource booth. Email lisaklabrum@gmail.com for information.
