The beauty of our national forests is something we as residents of the Uintah Basin can be proud of. Now we can be proactive in their care. The Ashley National Forest is looking for public feedback on the Draft Forest Plan that was produced by Ashley National Forest specialists. In a process called Scoping, members of the Ashley Forest Plan Revision will conduct a public review that will start in May and last for 60 days. The public can look over the draft strategic management plan and offer comments. This plan is important because it will guide the management actions for the Ashley National Forest for the next 15 to 20 years. For more information on how to get more involved, call
