A Duchesne County man is facing serious charges for alleged sexual acts against a child that happened a decade ago. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the accused was interviewed this month and confirmed that the allegations of violence as well as forcing a child to perform sex acts had occurred about 10 years ago. The victim was between the ages of 7 and 10 years old at the time of the incidents. 25-year-old Jaxon Stewart was advised of his Miranda rights and stated that the accusations had happened in the past and he wanted to move past it. Stewart was placed under arrest and was transported to the Duchesne County Jail. Stewart is charged with 2 counts of 1st Degree Felony Sodomy on a Child.
