Dust off your dinosaur costume and clear your schedule. It’s time to make right what fell apart a year ago. Uintah Special Service District 1 has announced that a new attempt will be made to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as dinosaurs. While there were more than enough dinosaur costume wearing participants to secure the record last year, the attempt fell short due to technicalities during the official counting process. The current Guinness World Record is 682 dinosaurs and the goal next month is to have over 1000 participants dressed as dinosaurs in downtown Vernal. The new attempt is taking place on August 28th at 6pm on the Downtown Lamplighter Block in Vernal. Check in is at 5:30pm. Wear your dinosaur costume upon arrival to the counting area. Bring some water and snacks and get ready to make history.
