Roosevelt City has shared more details about fireworks restrictions within their city limits. Roosevelt City shares that due to current and forecasted weather conditions coupled with the extremely dry conditions, the Roosevelt City Council has determined that fireworks will only be allowed in certain designated zones within city limits. Personal fireworks will be allowed in the parking lot East of the swimming pool(Aquatic Center) from July 2nd through the 5th. The parking lot will be blocked off so please park along Lagoon Street. Personal fireworks will also be allowed in the parking lot North of the new baseball complex and soccer fields, but only on July 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. No private fireworks are to be discharged at Constitution Park on July 4th. Absolutely no other locations within city limits are allowed for use of private fireworks. If choosing to use fireworks in one of the designated areas, please bring a bucket of water to douse all fireworks after use and use the dumpsters close to both locations to clean up afterwards.
