At least two people have been arrested and charged for an assault that allegedly took place in the McCoy Flats area on June 5th. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, officers were dispatched to the hospital on a report of an injured 22-year-old male that stated he had been at a bonfire at McCoy Flats and afterwards, fell asleep inside his truck. At some point he was woken up by a small group accusing him of touching someone inappropriately, which he denied. He was dragged out of the truck, and beat up by the group. He lost consciousness during the assault. Officers were able to obtain 2 video recordings of the incident during their investigation that corroborated the victim’s account. 20-year-old Izaiah Conrad Goff and 19-year-old Tegan Reynolds have been charged with 1st Degree Felony Aggravated Assault, as well as Burglary of a Vehicle.
