A new Uintah County Attorney has been sworn into office. Uintah County shared that a Special Session of the Uintah County Commission was taking place on Monday, June 8, at 9 a.m. to appoint Nathan L. Rawlings as Uintah County Attorney. Following the appointment, Mr. Rawlings was sworn into office. “Under Utah Code 20A-1-508, if the nominee has won the primary election and all relevant conditions are met, the candidate can be sworn in and take office early to fill the unexpired remainder of the term.” The public was invited to the ceremony today at 9 a.m. in the Uintah County Commission Chambers.
