Uintah County Election Update; Commissioner Debate Tonight

Tonight there is a debate ahead of the Uintah County Primary Election between the Republican Convention winners for Uintah County Commission seats; Matthew Wilber and Keith Campbell for Commissioner Seat A and Joe McKea and Danny Harrell for Commissioner Seat B. The debate is taking place from 7 to 9pm at the Vernal City Offices. Also of note: Uintah County has shared that the Republican primary ballots hit the Salt Lake post office on Tuesday and active Republican voters should receive them in 5 to 7 days. The last day to register to vote is June 12th at vote.utah.gov. Early Vote in Uintah County is taking place in the Clerk-Auditor’s Office during business hours from June 9th through the 19th. The only vote center open on Election Day in Uintah County is in the Uintah County Building Commission Chambers with polls open from 7am to 8pm. Ballots must be received in the Clerk-Auditor’s office by 8 pm on Election Day, June 23rd. The election will be audited on June 30th at 10am and the canvas of the election is scheduled for July 1st at 11am.
