A special traveling exhibit is now on display at the Museum of Uintah County. The ‘Bringing War Home’ project is supported by Utah State University and is about documenting objects brought home from war in order to understand the experiences and legacies of armed conflict. The traveling exhibit shares some of these objects and their stories. “Through a National Endowment for the Humanities sponsored program led by two Utah State University faculty from history and anthropology, the ‘Bringing War Home’ project invites the community–military and civilian alike–to connect with the history of war through sharing wartime objects and the personal stories that surround them.” The ‘Bringing War Home’ traveling exhibit will be at the Museum of Uintah County through July 31st before it moves on to its next stop at the USU library in Price.
