The FBI has invited the community to a free presentation taking place in Vernal in June focused on preventing and detecting scams. “The FBI is the lead federal agency for investigating cyber attacks and intrusions,” shares the announcement. “We collect and share intelligence and engage with victims while working to unmask those committing malicious cyber activities, wherever they are.” In addition to protecting yourself against scammers, attendees will learn about reporting to law enforcement and IC3.gov. All are invited to the FBI presentation on Monday, June 15th, from 3 to 4pm in the Vernal City Conference Room, 374 East Main in Vernal.
