The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has authorized three Applications for Permit to Uinta Wax Operating LLC to develop the Randlett Road East oil wells. This is for drilling of up to seven additional wells for a total of ten. The project location is approximately 7.8 miles southeast of Roosevelt within Uintah County. The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has also authorized four Applications for Permit to Drill to Anschutz Exploration Corporation to drill gas wells at the Bama Fed 1123 Well Pad. This is for drilling of up to eight additional wells for a total of twelve. The project location is in the Boss Unit, south of the White River in Uintah County.
