Uintah County Sheriff And Deputies Awarded

Team members of the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office have added some new accolades to the organization’s record. The Sheriff’s Office shared that on Wednesday, April 29, Sheriff Steve Labrum was recognized as the 2026 Outstanding County Sheriff of the Year at the Utah Association of Counties Conference in St. George. This award has extra meaning as he was awarded after being nominated by other sheriffs in Utah. Congratulations Sheriff Labrum! Then on Thursday, April 30, Corrections Deputies Keslee Borba and Amy Murrieta Tena were recognized and given awards at the Utah Gang Investigators Association Conference in Wendover, Nevada. Deputy Borba received a commendation award and Deputy Murrieta Tena was recognized as the 2026 Gang Analyst of the Year. Congratulations to Corrections Deputies Keslee Borba and Amy Murrieta Tena for their awards and dedication to keeping our correctional facilities safe!
